Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor required in Hertfordshire

GVR Solutions are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor of all levels to join a well-established drylining contractor based in Hertfordshire. This particular client specialise in suspended ceilings, plastering and SFS projects across the Commercial, Residential, Healthcare and Educational sector plus more.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will:

• Be reporting to the Senior Surveyor/Commercial Manager
• Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies
• Ensure the commercial targets are achieved including project and programme cost, quality and time.
• Managing the costs of the project, budgeting, and cash flows
• Carry out measurement for valuations
• Analyse progress and reporting
• Identify Opportunities and risks
• Attend post tender and pre-contract meetings.
• Prepare summary reports for the client and other stakeholders

The Quantity Surveyor must have/be:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or construction related
• Experience working for a well-established main contractor
• 5 – 10 years Quantity Surveying experience
• Experience working on Fit out and refurbishment projects
• Excellent analytical skills to make informed, balanced business decision and reporting
• Proven track record of delivering construction projects
• Excellent communication and oral skills
• Stable employment history
• High-performing individual
• Versatile
• Excellent time keeping skills
