Cladding Quantity Surveyor required in London

GVR Solutions are working closely with one of the UKs leading construction companies specialising in projects across the Residential, Public and Heritage sector. They are seeking an experienced and qualified Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in cladding to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate must make sure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with all aspects of cladding, including cost estimation, procurement, and contract administration.

 

Responsibilities of the Cladding Quantity Surveyor:

  • Conduct detailed measurement and valuation of works on-site.
  • Manage and monitor project costs and progress to ensure budgets are adhered to (CVR’s)
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to negotiate terms and agreements.
  • Conduct risk analysis and provide cost control strategies.
  • Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

 

The Cladding Quantity Surveyor must have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying with a strong focus on cladding.
  • In-depth knowledge of cladding systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Proven experience in cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to produce a detailed CVR and manage throughout the project.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (MS Excel & MS Project)
