Document Controller Required In North London
GVR Solutions are working with a specialist subcontractor for the commercial and residential sectors who are specialists in Drylining. They are looking for someone to join their highly professional and accredited team and continue to build on their reputation.
Responsibilities of the Document Controller are:
- Assisting estimators with collecting documents.
- Assisting director with managing enquires.
- Assisting design office with material technical submittals and maintaining detailed records
- Managing requests for documents.
- File documents in physical and digital form.
- Maintain accurate records and having a keen eye for detail.
- Downloading enquires onto our server and print hard copies for estimators.
- Arranging meetings.
- Talking to potential clients, chasing leads and jobs that have been priced.
- Obtaining prices from suppliers.
- Uploading and downloading drawings to and from all required web portals
- Reviewing drawing registers and ensuring information received is accurate.
As a Document Controller you must be/have:
- Excellent organisational skills and time management
- Experience in a Document Controller position for a Main Contractor or Sub Contractor
- Team player
- The ability to manage workload, identify specific priorities and meet targets
- High attention to detail with strong communication skills
- Have good IT skills including Microsoft Word/Excel and adaptable to new software systems
- Strong people skills
- Demonstrate Contractual Awareness
- Stable employment history
- Organised, outgoing and a can-do attitude
