Contracts Manager – Refurbishment & Fit Out

Contracts Manager required in Essex

GVR Solutions are currently representing a reputable and very well-established main contractor, based in Essex, who have entered the market for an experienced Refurbishment and Fit out Contracts Manager to join their pre-construction team.

As a Contracts Manager you will:

• Preferably would be ex trade with vast supervision/ management experience working up from site operative.
• Programming experience
• Full contract obligation awareness
• Good client facing candidate
• Lead all negotiations of contracts for construction projects
• Create, review, negotiate and administration of all Contracts, Sub-Contractors, Teaming and Non-Disclosures.
• Contract Negotiations and strategies, including fee/profit objectives
• Settle disputes regarding contract interpretation
• Liaise with management team and be  point of contact for internal teams who may have questions regarding contracts.
• Manage and track project finance on an ongoing basis
• Review reports to make sure projects are within the time-frame and budgets
• Identify and ensure compliance with contract terms, from proposal to completion, submitting reports timely.
• Continually refine suppliers cost savings and deliver the best value at all times
• Develop strong relationships with Clients and in-house management
• Identify risks and escalate

The Contracts Manager must have/be:

• Have experience with the Prime Residential Sector
• Have a detailed knowledge and understanding of a Contracts Manager
• Have a stable employment record
• Relevant IT Skills
• Excellent oral communication and written skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Proven track record of liaising with Clients
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, diplomatic, deal maker
• Confident, Articulate and a critical thinker
