My client are one of the UK’s leading commercial Waterproofing & Roofing Contractors. Trading now for over 40 years’ they have a wealth of knowledge gained by many years’ experiences in the roofing industry. They are approved contractors for most of the leading membrane manufactures and suppliers and combine the use of the best products to their customer’s needs.

Over the 40 years’ they have built strong working relationships with their clients and manufacturers and offer a design, specification and estimating service on projects ranging in value from £10k – £10m.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day to day running of various sites.
• Control and implement health and safety on site.
• Manage quality control and progressive handovers of installation.
• Co-ordinate site activities in line with programme sequence
• Schedule materials and deliveries in adequate time
• Attend progress meetings.
• Oversee projects from start through to completion, ensuring works are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage record keeping for all contract related correspondence and documentation.
• Provide contract related issue resolution, both internally and externally
• Demonstrate negotiation and problem solving.
• Excellent verbal communication skills

Requirements for applicant:

• Ideal candidate will have a proven record of progression within a construction company.
• Previous roofing experience
• Full understanding of scheduling material and organising installation teams
• Excellent health and safety management
• SSSTS/SMSTS
• Full Driving license
• Conflict resolution/communication skills
• Must be computer literate.
